AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, with a membership of more than 37 million, that helps people turn their goals and dreams into real possibilities, strengthens communities and fights for the issues that matter most to families such as healthcare, employment security and retirement planning.
Working with the AARP Travel Team, our Founder developed a new user experience to reduce bounce-rates, increase user engagement, joins, and renewals. The new AARP Travel experience focuses on removing barriers to travel planning by allowing users to create AARP Travel pin boards as they dream about where they want to travel.
The revised UX introduces new card patterns, increases usage of interactive maps, and takes into consideration the integration of partner functionality, content, and complex group travel interactions across multiple web touch points.
Overall, more than 100 responsive wireframes were developed for desktop, tablet, and mobile. The designs were completed iteratively using ongoing usability studies.
