The World Bank initiated an Organizational Knowledge Sharing Program designed to enable public sector institutions to better capture, share and use operational experience and solutions in solving critical challenges. In Indonesia, the responsible minister issued a national regulation to scale-up a systematic approach for capturing and sharing of operational experiences on disaster management country-wide across 400 local government agencies.
Our Founder, Karen Passmore, created a responsive user experience design for the knowledge sharing platform to be used as a template across multiple public sector institutions implementing knowledge sharing. The site design is modeled after Google Docs and was first adapted for the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Indonesia; and later adapted for the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industries and Fisheries (MAAIF). Both sites are currently in development.
